As from the Monday the 11th of October 2021, the Welsh Parliament amended the rules for Wales.

The following continue to apply:

1. Businesses, employers and other organisations must continue to undertake a specific coronavirus risk assessment and take reasonable measures to minimise exposure to, and the spread of, coronavirus
2. Everyone must continue to self-isolate for 10 days if they test positive for Covid-19. Close contacts of someone who has tested positive who are aged 18 or over and not fully vaccinated must also self-isolate for 10 days
3. Adults and children aged 11 and over must continue to wear face-coverings in indoor public places, with the exception of hospitality settings such as restaurants, pubs, cafes or nightclubs

In addition, people will be required to show the NHS COVID pass to prove they are either fully vaccinated or have a recent negative Lateral Flow Test to attend:

• Nightclubs
• Indoor non-seated events where over 500 people are mixing closely for prolonged periods
• Outdoor non-seated events where over 4,000 people are mixing closely for prolonged periods
• Any event of more than 10,000 people

The latest advice for England is broadly the same as in Wales, however, whilst adults and children aged 11 and over should wear face coverings in crowded and enclosed areas where they come into contact with people you do not usually meet, this does not apply to shops.

To this effect, Rees Astley Insurance Brokers have updated our coronavirus risk assessment in line with the new regulations, sight of which can be requested at any time.

As well as offering remote review meetings, such as via Zoom, MS Teams, Skype etc we have resumed face-to-face on-site meetings with clients who are comfortable with this, either at one of our offices or clients' premises. We ensure that our premises are well-ventilated and face coverings and hand sanitiser are available, and would kindly ask that our clients do the same at their premises in order to minimise the risk of coronavirus exposure.

We would like to reassure ensure our clients, that we endeavour to take every opportunity to mitigate the risks to both our clients and ourselves, in as much as we sanitise our hands, hold meetings in a well-ventilated space, wear face masks if it is felt appropriate, maintain social distancing, record client meetings on our own "track & trace" system; all in accordance with current guidelines.
